Your Rights

These terms and conditions do not affect your statutory rights. You must be 18 years old or over to purchase from RCS Limited.

We comply with "Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000" as laid out by the UK Department of Trade and Industry.

• You have the right to cancel your order without giving a reason during the cancellation period. The cancellation period is 7 days and begins on the day you receive your goods. For communicating, you should use details provided on our Contact Us page.
• If you wish to cancel:
  • You may optionally phone us to let us know in advance.
  • You MUST inform us in writing via post or e-mail.
  • We will issue you with a 'Returns Number' and an address to which the goods should be returned to.
  • You need to return the goods to us at your own expense. In the event that you do not return the goods to us, a deduction will be made from the refund to cover the direct cost of collecting the goods.
  • Your money will be refunded within 30 days of receipt of your written cancellation.
• IMPORTANT EXCEPTION (as per "Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000"): If you have unsealed any of the sealed goods (CD computer software), the 7 days cancellation period DOES NOT apply.
• eBooks: As there is potential for eBooks refunds to be abused (additionally costing us time and money), we are unable to offer refunds on eBooks. You should therefore ensure that the eBooks meet your requirements before purchase..

• Currently, the FREE 'Special Offer Product' is a "1Gb USB 2.0 Flash Drive".
• Currently, the threshold for the 'Special Offer Product' is, any order over £250 for delivery within the UK.
• One side of the drive will have our logo and website address.
• The 'Special Offer Product' will be added to the basket automatically once the order value is over the threshold and a delivery location of 'United Kingdom' is selected.
• You should ensure that the "Special Offer Product" is suitable for purpose before placing an order with which you will receive the "Special Offer Product".
• We reserve the right to withdraw the 'Special Offer Product' at anytime. In a case where an order has been placed already, we will cancel the order and refund the full amount.
• Offer subject to availability. In a case where an order has been placed already but we are unable to provide the 'Special Offer Product', we will either offer an alternative, or if you prefer, cancel the order and refund the full amount.
• We reserve the the right to ship the "Special Offer Product" separately (i.e. the ordered items may be shipped separately).
• In cases where you cancel the whole order (or cancel part of the order, where the retained products of the order is valued at below the 'Special Offer' threshold value (see above)), then the 'Special Offer Product' will have to be returned in a saleable condition. Instead of returning it, you can choose to purchase it at the then going rate (see our website for pricing).
• RCS Limited will not be liable whatsoever (explicit or implied) for any damage or loss caused by use of the 'Special Offer Product'.
• In case of a faulty 'Special Offer Product', it will have to be returned to us (at your cost) for investigation. You should ensure sufficient protection, that it is not damaged or lost in transit. We may fix or replace the faulty product within the manufacturer's warranty terms and conditions. Our supplier's decision will be final regarding any dispute/disagreement.
• Additionally, the 'Special Offer Product' manufacturer's Terms and Conditions apply.
• This Special Offer Product is not available to RCS Limited's resellers.
• Errors and omissions excepted.

Errors, Omissions and Changes

Errors and omissions excepted. Due to the nature of the market we cannot guarantee that there will not be any errors or omissions. If we notice any error or omission that affects your order, you will be given the opportunity to cancel your order or proceed with the corrections.

Changes may me made without prior notification at any time.

Purchase of goods

All prices are stated in Great Britain Pounds (£). Due to international currency exchange rates, prices (including 'Clearance Prices') may change without notice.

Making a purchase is straightforward. Just browse our Catalogue, and 'Add' products to your shopping basket. After you have finished your selection, click on "checkout" and you will be asked for details that we require to satisfy the order. We ensure you are given plenty of information as you place your order.

There are different ways to place and pay for your order

• PayPal - We now accept PayPal. You will need a PayPal account first. We will be able to get your invoice details from PayPal so you don't have to type in details you've already typed into PayPal. NOTE: If you have an 'unconfirmed' address, then we will ask you for additional details/proof to protect our customers, as well as ourselves, against fraud.
• Credit Card Payment - We will accept credit card payment on-line only. Payment will be accepted and processed by Protx on our behalf using SSL (secure socket layers) and 128 bit encryption. You will receive a separate e-mail confirming your transaction with them. You can pay for your order using American Express | Delta | Mastercard | Solo | Switch | Visa. At our descretion, mainly to protect us and the card holder, we may choose to ask for proof of person/address. Also see notes that follow, regarding refunds. We have now also support VbV (Verified by Visa) and SecureCode (MasterCard) - schemes to further protect consumers using credit cardsfor online purchase. PLEASE NOTE: VbV and Securecode use popups and so, you should temporarily disable any popup blocker(s) you might have active.
• Cheque in Post - Cheques should be crossed and made payable to "RCS Limited". Please ensure your name, address and order number are clearly written on the back of your cheque.
• Invoice and Payment - An invoice will be e-mailed/mailed to you for payment prior to delivery of your goods. Please ensure prompt payment of the invoice electronically (we will provide you with details) or via a cheque made payable to "RCS Limited", and posted to "RCS Limited, Ceres, Hook, Hampshire RG27 8LQ".
• Electronically - If you would like to pay electronically, then please contact us once you have received your invoice. We will then provide you with an account number and sort code.
• While the above options involve ordering and/or paying online, we also accept faxed, emailed or telephoned purchase orders. In any case, we will send you an invoice which will have to be paid before goods are despatched.
  

Company Credit Accounts:
At our discretion, we will consider credit applications once we have processed at least 3 orders and are comfortable and happy working with your company. Credit amounts will relate to previously places orders.

Notes:
Goods will not be dispatched until payments have cleared.
 

Shipping, Delivery and Tax

Upon confirmation of payment (credit card authorisation code received or payment cleared), goods ordered will be dispatched.

Services

• For deliveries within the UK, we use Royal Mail 'Recorded Signed For' or 'Special Delivery'.
• For deliveries outside the UK, we use FEDEX.

All deliveries will require your signature upon collection - On most products, delivery is free. However, there are are times when we have to separately price products* for delivery outside the UK. *These will be clearly shown.

Shipping Timescales - Goods will normally be delivered within 5-to-7 working days. This is a guideline. See Disclaimers below.

Taxes - Calculated tax will be displayed once items are added to your basket and will be rounded up to the nearest penny. We do not collect any other taxes, and therefore you should check if any other local taxes apply to any goods you may purchase from us.

• All goods shipped within the UK will incur United Kingdom VAT (Value Added Tax) charged at 17.5%.
• All goods shipped outside the UK but within the European Union:
  • if you do not have your own VAT/VIES number then United Kingdom VAT (Value Added Tax) will be charged at 17.5%.
  • if you do have your own VAT/VIES number, then you are exempt and can select 'VAT (VIES) registered' when selecting the delivery destination.
• All goods sold outside the European Union will be exempt from United Kingdom VAT (Value Added Tax).

Outside the UK?

• If placing an order online, then you select the delivery location on the basket page. When ordering online, it is only possible to deliver to the country of invoice. If you need to have separate invoice and delivery countries, you should contact us with your requirements.
• If your country is not listed, then please contact us so that we can contact our couriers to calculate/arrange shipping which will affect the cost and delivery timescales. Also, shipped products (outside the UK) could be liable to other duties and the purchaser/receiver should ensure all such duties are paid to the appropriate authorities as we do not charge, collect or pay duties or taxes other than those mentioned.  

Privacy Policy

RCS Limited is registered under the Data Protection Act.

Any personal information we collect from you is primarily used to fulfill your order. Where you have chosen to receive marketing information, we will use your details to send you such information. RCS Limited does not disclose customer information to third parties - unless you have inquired about services/products available through our partners. In the unlikely event that you gave us your details but did/could not subsequently complete the purchase, we may contact you to find out if you simply changed your mind or if there was a problem with our payment process.

During the checkout process, you will be prompted to complete specific details relating to your order (your name, delivery address, method of payment etc.). The 'Remember Me' option allows you to save these details entered via a 'cookie' on your own computer, so that on future visits you need not retype all this information again. The cookie will expire after 365 days.

Additionally, we use cookies to record how visitors found our site, so that we can check on the progrees of our marketing efforts.

RCS Limited will not contact you with unsolicited marketing information. Subscribing/Unsubscribing to our newsletter can be done during the order process, or as a separate request to our Customer Services department.
 

Disclaimers

Some events are outside our control (e.g. dictated by suppliers, couriers, etc.). If goods are not delivered within 15 working days, we will gladly offer you a full refund including shipping costs. This also means that CD/DVD images shown are as a guideline only and may differ with respect to colours and actual graphics used on the CDs/DVDs dispatched. As an example, some images show CDs-with-videos even though the course is on CDs/DVDs - this is becuase the vendor provides use with generic images.

Items are sold subject to availability.

RCS accepts no liability what so ever for claims of damages of any kind as a result of ordering goods from us that may arise (including use of media).
