SharePoint Server 2007 Training Course Introduction:
Most admins new to SharePoint think it's a big scary server product that requires loads of configuration. Don't worry, it's far from scary. In fact, SharePoint is an easy to use CMS (Content Management System) web site integrated with Microsoft Office.
SharePoint 2007 is a portal-based collaboration and file management server. It is made out of various web parts (such as web sites and blogs) that are hosted on the portal.
It also comes in two flavours: the free Services 3.0 version that is available with Microsoft Server products and the more robust SharePoint Server 2007 edition with all its extra collaboration and search features.
This hands-on course will dive into both versions (MOSS & WSS) and prepare you for both MCTS exams: 70-630 & 70-631!
