Course Introduction
The World Wide Web Consortium's (W3C) XML technology is a powerful new tool in building distributed applications. Microsoft's .NET Framework embraces XML and uses it in everything from configuration files to XML Web Services. As a .NET developer it is important to become familiar with how .NET exposes functionality to work with XML Data. This course teaches developers how to program with XML in the Microsoft® .NET Framework in order to build Microsoft Windows or Web-based integrated applications that are easier to build, scalable, and flexible.
This course is a requirement for the following Exam(s) :
- MCSD Exam 70–310: Developing XML Web Services and Server Components with Microsoft Visual Basic .NET and the Microsoft .NET Framework
- MCSD Exam 70–320: Developing XML Web Services and Server Components with Microsoft Visual C# and the Microsoft .NET Framework
