Course Introduction
The MCPD certification (Microsoft Certified Professional Developer) for Web Developers demonstrates that you have the comprehensive skills that are required to build interactive, data-driven Web applications that use ASP.NET 2.0 for both intranet and Internet uses.
Candidates for this exam work on a team in a medium or large development environment that uses Microsoft Visual Studio .NET 2003 Enterprise Developer or Visual Studio 2005. Candidates should have a working knowledge of Visual Studio 2005 and a sound knowledge of the new features of ASP.NET 2.0. Candidates should have at least two years of experience developing applications by using the Microsoft .NET Framework.
You may upgrade to the MCPD: Web Developer certification by taking one exam: MCPD Exam 70-551 : MCPD Web Developer Upgrade Training.
By passing this MCPD upgrade exam, you will automatically obtain the relevant MCTS prerequisite, MCTS: .NET Framework 2.0 Web Applications.
